Yet another place I've actually lived in, modified for game play.  Yes, it is an apartment, with some amusing fog emitters going.

This was an apartment with a rather rude landlady who taught music lessons, and rarely used any electricity, relying more on windows and doors being open.  Her large and threatening looking two dogs were friendly enough, but would always be hungry, and would shove open the half-broken door to our basement apartment, destroy all the garbage bags, and chase rats around.  I'm very glad to be out of this place.  The basement living space was an obvious afterthought, with no heat, and barely enough room to move anywhere.  It included 1 bedroom off from the kitchen, where myself and a friend's brother squeezed into a place not even big enough for my air mattress.  One of that guy's friends was in the other bedroom, an obvious slob with extreme gamer funk.  Both guys were always in this larger room watching movies and playing games.  The guy in this bedroom had worked cheap retail jobs, while my friend's brother had a night security job and played Warcraft when not working or sleeping.  I have yet to make Sims based on them.  We made this tiny miserable place work because we were all too poor to do otherwise.  The landlady ultimately went into foreclosure, forcing us all to move.  I'm still in touch with the friends I made at this place, as strange and awkward as it was.

Real place:

If/ when I get Pets, I'll probably redo this lot, and add in the Sims.

I believe these are pictures of the original model, a house, and the upload is an updated version, an apartment.  I'll get other pictures up soon.
