In The Sims 4 there are 8 careers that your Sim(s) can choose from as an Adult. Here are some tips that may be of help in getting your Sims promoted. These will also work for those school age Sims.

It all depends on how hard your Sim wants to work while on the job or at school.

Tip

If you want to get promoted as quickly as possible, have your Sim work harder. However, be prepared to spend some time getting all their needs as close to maxed out before work and then helping get them back up after work as well. The ending reward is once you get to the highest level of your career, there is no need to work hard anymore, so let your Sims enjoy being at work.

Tip

Completing daily tasks will also help that promotion bar to move up towards the goal of getting promoted.

Tip

There are many ways to help your Sim get the desired mood before heading out the door to work. **Note: this will be updated if needed**

Focused: To have your Sim achieve this mood, have them play chess or practicing program on the computer.

Inspired: To obtain this have your Sim paint at an easel, take a thoughtful shower or do anything that is creative.

Energized: The best way to obtain this is by sending your Sim out for a jog, doing exercises, taking a brisk shower.

TIP **Note this list will be updated**
Another way to get your sim(s) in the desired mood for work or school is to obtain objects that allow you to enable certain aurora's. Examples of these objects are:
Coffee pot (have an adult enable this)
Artist canvas rack (gives the Inspiration mood)
Tech trophy (gives the Focused mood) {this has to be unlocked by either obtaining the correct Tech career level or you can use bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement cheat}

I have the Prima Guide and did some reading and also went in game and tried some things out to see what gave the best outcome to achieve each emotion. Luckily I have one family that each person needed to achieve each one of these. cuddle
